Hey~! :wave:
I found out this way of blending tones when I was randomly painting [unfortunately it's a WIP so I don't have it uploaded].
Although that painting isn't done [and thus I do not have a finished example to show] I decided to make a tutorial about this technique, because I found it to be pretty useful, and much more controllable then that unstable smudge tool :paranoid:.

I am not very experienced in digital art, so don't expect this to give your paintings a huge boost, but I did see an improvement in the result, and maybe you would an improvement as well :aww:
If you don't like the result just... don't use it :/ what can I say...? I'm not a pro.

I've blended like this in paint before. =D But it doesn't have any brushes that do soft edges, so you just have to adjust the colors to be inbetween by yourself. xD It's very, very time consuming.
